Top of the morning to ya, beauties!
It’s early on Monday morning, and I’m posting at 1 in the morning. I can be the laziest person you will ever meet. But on some occasions (SOME), I can be so hardworking, it sends chills down your spine.
Today on Sustainable Sundays, I’m going to feature Miranda Kerr. Yes, gorgeous eye-candy to both hetero/homo males and females. No matter what you are, you know you either idolizes Miranda Kerr, despite the bright green glow of envy in your eyes.
But speaking of green, Miranda has contributed quite a lot to the whole sustainability movement, which explains so much why she was named the global ambassador for Earth Hour 2011.
We’re not all supermodels or have that much influence..or the wallet, but we can certainly support one of the projects that she is part of.
Kora Organics by Miranda Kerr
The brainchild of Ms Kerr, this organic line was created to inspire people globally to nurture their bodies, embrace their unique beauty and understand the benefits of using organic skincare products. In developing the products, her priority was to bring together the ingredients that she personally used and knew would deliver results.
Wildlife Warriors Worldwide.
Miranda contributes to this organisation which aims to preserve and protect international wildlife and flora. Much like the WWF, it also protects threatened and endangered species and educates the public about the importance of animal rights and welfare.
Koala Foundation’s No Tree, No Me.
As an Australian, Miranda has a soft fuzzy spot for her country’s native marsupial and supports the campaign. Seriously though, if you can’t aww at the sight of a koala, you’re dead inside. No, I kid. But they’re really cute.
